The Other Music Documentary just finished its run at the 2019 Tribeca and the Montclair Film festivals. Many thanks to film directors Puloma and Rob, and everyone behind the production, for their love and hard work in weaving the memories of our staff, customers and families into a celebratory film about the special community that we’ve been so fortunate to be a part of. The film will be showing this weekend in Baltimore at the Maryland Film Festival (May 10 and May 12). Follow @OtherMusicDocumentary or visit them on-line at www.othermusicdocumentary.com for more screening announcements.

We're thrilled to share the news that the documentary Other Music will have its world premiere at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival! The store was not directly involved in the production of the documentary, but we made our video archive and many other historic materials available to the filmmakers and gave them access to film in the store for our final two months of business. Today the film launched a second Kickstarter to raise money for remaining finishing costs before Tribeca, and premiered a new teaser trailer. Tickets for the Tribeca screenings are scheduled to go on sale March 26th. Purchase tickets here.
