We recently featured in our Update the fully realized five-hour recording of Dennis Johnson's November, a beautiful and austere piano composition from the late 1950s, which Johnson's onetime UCLA classmate La Monte Young credited as a direct inspiration for his watershed The Well-Tuned Piano. Record Store Day 2013 is almost here and we hope you'll be joining us on Saturday for this very special time of year for music lovers and collectors! We've been unpacking the boxes all week and it's safe to say that our racks will be exploding with an array of exclusive vinyl releases that is nothing short of amazing. Of course, quantities are limited and there are no guarantees of what you'll find, but you can see a rundown of all the RSD '13 titles here. Other Music will be open from 10:30am to 8:00pm this Saturday, and as always there are no advance orders, holds or reservations -- just come on down and enjoy the fun!
